Grand Rapids students show off talents as Citywide Art Show returns

Iyahna is a 2nd grader who did a tempera painting of a puppy. She claims she likes pet dogs due to the fact they’re lovable. She has a pet dog named Peaches, even though the doggy she painted is a diverse doggy. 

“I did not do the actual colours for the reason that most of my pet is like white. But it has black spots on it, and like a small little bit brownish and grey.”

Iyahna claims it’s interesting to have her artwork on exhibit and it makes her really feel content.

Jesse is a fifth grader who did an summary self portrait.
