Hoffman Stars Dance Company Shines Bright at Regional Competition
Hoffman Estates Park District’s, Hoffman Stars Dance Organization, took dwelling numerous awards Saturday, May well 15, 2021, at the regional Dance Idol Level of competition in Des Plaines, Illinois which includes 1st spot for the Senior Company’s jazz routine.
“This has been a demanding 12 months but our dancers and lecturers worked very difficult in preparation for this levels of competition. It will take a great deal of practice, time and commitment to be levels of competition-completely ready but they were up to the challenge,” said Jessica Karbowski, Dance coordinator for Dance at Hoffman Estates Park District.
Hoffman Stars Dance Business take part in 1 smaller team opposition. Corporation 2, ages 11-12, obtained a silver, and won the “Workin’ It” judges’ award. Corporation 2 associates included Andrea Avilan, Sophia Berichon, Briana Dawson, Cailin Hopkins and Jasmine Reyes.
Corporation 1 dancers, Kylie Hopkins, Victoria Kersting, and Lily Shure done a dance trio and gained 6th put in their category. The business 1 trio also been given the judges’ “Desire Ladies Award.”
Competing in the 16-19 age bracket, Senior Firm, took 1st for their jazz trio, “Wanna Be Much larger Than Daily life.” Senior Organization dancers Cami Colaprete, Abby Knapp, and Natalie McHone also executed a modern trio known as “Powerful,” and gained the “Dynamic Trio” judges’ award.
