MDC Hialeah Campus Presents “Stories of the Natural and Unnatural World”

Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Hialeah Campus offers “Tales of the Normal and Unnatural World“, an art exhibit curated by Noor Blazekovic and showcasing artist Jeanne Jaffe opening Monday, Oct. 3, through Monday, Dec. 5. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 4 – 9 p.m. The opening and exhibition are free of charge and open up to the public by appointment only.

Jaffe is a multi-disciplinary artist performing in installation, sculpture, and prevent movement animation. Her do the job is affected by an interest in language, literature, psychology, and background and explores how we build identity, our earth and our worth devices. She is Professor Emeritus of Wonderful Arts at the College of the Arts in Philadelphia. She is the recipient of fellowship grants from the Gottlieb Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Mid Atlantic/NEA. the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts between other individuals.

Jaffe’s is effective have been exhibited nationally and internationally at the Pennsylvania Academy of Wonderful Art Museum, the Seokdang Museum of Artwork in Korea, Doral Artwork Museum, Coral Springs Museum of Artwork, Delaware Artwork Museum, Hillwood Art Museum, Mino Washi Ikari. Museum in Japan, Michener Artwork Museum, The Royal Scottish Academy of Edinburgh, Scotland, Girl’s Club in Fort Lauderdale, IS Initiatives, Hollywood Artwork and Lifestyle Centre, and the Arts Warehouse. Her work has been reviewed extensively, which include in Art in The us, the New York Occasions, and Sculpture Magazine.
